Leicester-based startup more than doubled their first year trading forecast through strategic, multi-channel digital marketing campaigns with Unity.


The Company
Avon Water Services provides tailored underground mains water pipe installations, repairs and replacements throughout the Midlands for both domestic and commercial customers. They use the latest leak detection equipment and trenchless technology to minimise disruption.

The Problem
As a new business, Avon Water Services came to Unity with no website or digital presence to help promote its services. The company was interested in expanding its potential customer base and increasing brand awareness but needed help in getting started.

Our Solution
Unity began by creating a bespoke website that promoted the specialist services Avon Water Services offers to their clients with engaging calls to action, and emergency contact details, as many customers will need to get in touch quickly. As the website is the dominant digital vehicle, this needed to be built to the highest of SEO standards baked-in to enable the swift initiation of SEO on and off-page marketing.

The Website
Whilst the website was in progress, we formulated a marketing plan, that pushed the site and services out to as many people as possible in the local area. To do this, we configured a PPC campaign and SEO content strategy to target both long-term and immediate exposure approaches, with PPC enabling us to assign a media spend budget to appear at the top of the search engine in the ‘sponsored’ results.
The Performance
During our relationship over the last 2 years, we have generated £1.5m in revenue with £52,000 ad spend through our campaign creation and management in Google Ads. That is an ROAS of 2884.6%! We have supported enquiries from global businesses including Under Armour, Pukka Pads, Panasonic, Moss Bros, Leicester City Council, NFL, Blue Light Card and many more via these campaigns.
