The Company
No Limits are the UK’s leading provider of motorcycle trackdays, visiting an extensive range of circuits across the UK, Europe and internationally.

The Problem
Frustrated with their previous agency, the website had been built in Magento 2. The magento platform has always been a frustration for them, as its integrations are not user friendly. They adopt a very manual approach to maintaining the website, payments and gift vouchers.
As a Magento website with one of the worst codes our developer has seen on a Magento site, the core files were over-ridden in multiple places (not standard practice) which caused massive issues when trying to correct bugs/fixes. It became difficult to continuously monitor the site, with our developer needing to investigate over 10,000 files to find the errors instead of looking through the theme fold where any over-rides should be presented.
The time this took meant that the web team were forced to be reactive rather than proactive to the website’s functionality.

Our Solution
We adopted the Magento 2 website and have worked to increase it’s functionality, security and compliance, upgrading the website to Magento 2.4.5-p1. This was a significant update as the website was on an old version of Magento 2.
At the same time, we rebuilt the modular configurations so the code was clean and easily finadable for change making purposes. This solution involves bringing the website up to standards so future developers see what they expect in the back-end of the website. They are then able to update features whilst not breaking other unexpected alterations.

The Website
We have created a full audit of the site usage from the No Limits business perspective, understanding how they use each integration, the customer experience they uphold and the processes they use to update the content of the website, including product uploads.
This has given us a much clearer picture of what they need and expect the website to do, so that we can quickly support them, understanding their approach and usage.
We support the functionality of the website, troubleshooting and requests and are in the phases of rebuilding parts of the user experience to match our analysis of their customer journey, to boost conversions.
We have also migrated tracking to GA4 to monitor the usage of the website, ecommerce purchases and marketing campaign effectiveness.
